OrangePixel releases a new video in their Space Grunts game development series

Written by AndrewH

OrangePixel has worked on the new game for mobile called Space Grunts and has been recording the whole process of building the sport. Well most of the process. Anyways, each week OrangePixel releases a brand new video showcasing the job completed to the sport during the past week now there’s a new video to check out.

For those of you who missed our previous coverage in regards to this game, here is the quick and dirty explanation for Space Grunts. Originally farmville was actually going to be a sequel to Heroes of Loot. However, on the way Space Grunts has evolved so much that it is now completely different than Heroes of Loot so OrangePixel will quickly rename the sport to Space Grunts making it a totally new IP instead. Space Grunts is really a dungeon crawler type of game similar to Heroes of Loot with the exception that it’s a hybrid turn-based / arcade shooter. Making a hybrid such as this is fairly difficult for a variety of reasons so OrangePixel is documenting the whole process.

In Week 5 OrangePixel has appeared to have very good progress within the game’s development. Space Grunts is starting to appear quite good. Of course you have to be into the whole retro-style of games. The video is A few minutes long so be sure to choose a seat and relax for some minutes when you watch it. There are about 4 more videos OrangePixel posted now concerning the game’s development, all of which are available on their YouTube channel.
