Fans of murder mystery style games possess a new title to look toward arriving soon. The Trace, produced by Relentless Software, is going to be making its way to cellular devices soon and that does include Android. As you are probably guess in the theme of this game, The Trace is really a puzzle adventure game in which you is going to be to solve a murder that has happened.

Players will require on the role of Detective Sam Pearce that has been called onto solve a murder. You will need to piece together the clues across three chapters in order to solve the murder which has happened and discover the killer to be able to, hopefully, bring these to justice. The Trace was compiled by exactly the same author behind Sherlock: The Network, David Varela, so this must have a very good storyline to follow.

Visually, The Trace happens to be sporting 3D visuals that is nice for something new. Many of these kinds of games wind up having 2D or 2.5D graphics. Here is what you will be jumping into with The Trace:

The location is Baltimore. The victim is…?

The reason for death seems to be suicide C but somehow, as you cast your skills around, it doesn’t quite add up. Look closer and you will find hidden objects and clues concealed in corners which you’ll want to have to piece together to resolve the mystery, with the help of your forensic lab technician partner, Alex.

From the sounds of the game The Trace will not be that short of a title to play through. Based on the developers, you will find hundreds of objects that you’ll want to check out and figure if they are clues or something else. You will need to collect just as much evidence along the way should you aspire to solve this example.

For those of you getting excited about grabbing a duplicate of the game, The Trace will be hitting iOS devices on March 26th, 2015 with the Android version arriving shortly afterwards. Price-wise you are considering 3.99 meaning it will be either $3.99 or around $6.15 based on whether they make use of the exchange rate for pricing or just let it rest at $3.99 across the board.
