Scott Cawthon, the creator from the massively successful ‘Five Night’s At Freddy’s’ series gave the web a significant scare over the weekend when he lied about his upcoming sequel being cancelled.

Posting on Steam, Scott announced the game had been hacked and leaked online. Consequently he’d be cancelling the releasing of the third installment altogether. Luckily for horror fans this ended up being a massive prank (almost a month and a half before April). The leaked game was simply a re-release of his old runner ‘There Isn’t any Pause Button!’.?

Not as scary as FNAF and frustrating.?

The only difference? The runners face continues to be substituted for Freddy Fazbear’s. Good job trolling the internet Scott, well done! As for the third installment into the series, development is moving full speed ahead based on Scott.
