Wargaming.net has announced their ” new world ” of Tanks Generals game has started closed beta testing and that sign-ups are actually live. To start off with, the closed beta will be browser version only but will have an Android and iOS version added to the closed beta testing phase soon.

Update: March 2nd, 2015 10:55am PST: World of Tanks Generals closed beta testing sign-ups are actually officially live. There is a hiccup at first with sign-ups but is appears all is good and interested people can sign-up through the links after this short article.

For people not familiar with farmville, Realm of Tanks Generals is a new spin-off bet on Warngaming.net’s World of Tanks franchise. Before you decide to lose your minds readily on the ” new world ” of Tanks game, this specific one is a card combat game. Players will choose their general to play as, which can be from any of the countries available in the field of Tanks world, and using these generals players will command an army of tanks to consider down their opponents with. Tanks are represented by cards that may be collected while you progress with the game.

World of Tanks Generals features both PvP and PvE gameplay, even though you can bet the PvP gameplay will be the meat of the game considering the franchise that it’s a part of. Players can build numerous decks, tailor strategies and unlock new cards along the way to strengthen their decks (the decks being their army of tanks).

Our definitive goal with Closed Beta would be to evolve the game in to the incredible experience we’re targeting. We’ve place a lot of effort in to the game and therefore are getting excited about seeing how testers like the current version, in addition to hear their ideas and suggestions about the game’s future. – Andrey Zimenko, Director of worldwide Operations, World of Tanks Generals.

This closed beta will have a good chunk of the sport, with three factions to choose from – USA, Germany and the USSR. In total you will see over 200 cards available throughout the closed beta testing phase for players to select and build their armies with. A single login feature is also being implemented within this game, and all other Wargaming.net titles, which will allows players to use a unified Wargaming.net ID to login any titles within the Wargaming.net brand that they’re playing. As this is a TCG title, it will be free-to-play and feature IAPs for booster packs.

There is no specific release date for Realm of Tanks Generals, nor is there a particular date as to when the Android version will begin closed beta testing. If you want to get in the loop, you are able to sign-up now with the game’s official website. During the time of penning this, the state website is down for maintenance. We will post a new update when the Android version begins closed beta testing.
