[Updated] Nvidia announces the Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Pro/Am international tournament with $25K prize pool

Nvidia has announced they’re hosting an official Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Pro/Am international tournament which also has free registration, a $25,000 prize pool, and Nvidia Shield Tablets up for grabs. If you play Hearthstone regularly, and think you’ve what it takes, then continue reading to discover all the details relating to this Hearthstone tournament.

Update: March 2nd, 2015 10:17am PST: We simply received word this tournament is available to all compatible platforms that the game is on. Quite simply, if you want to compete within this tournament making use of your Android phone, tablet or other things, you can perform so. Best of luck!

The Nvidia Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Pro/Am international tournament may have both Pro and amateur Hearthstone players competing online for his or her share from the $25K prize pool. Also, all Pro players and also the 16 amatuer players who allow it to be in to the brackets will get a Nvidia Shield Tablet. All the premier matches will be streamed onto TwitchTV as well everything Thursday night starting at 8AM PST and lasting until 12PM PST.

Registration is currently open starting today and can remain open until March 19th, 2015. Play will begin March 26th, 2015 and will run till May14th, 2015. The finals will then begin on May 16th, 2015 in which the top 16 professional players face off from the top 16 amateur players inside a better of 5, single elimination bracket playoff. For anyone interested in registering, that can be done with the official tournament website. We will be covering the entire event as well, good luck!

Side note: We are waiting for confirmation that mobile players can compete. We are pretty sure they can but we want to get confirmation anyways. We will post an update after we get said confirmation.
