Paradox Interactive have announced they’re releasing a sequel to their extremely popular RPG title known as the Knights of Pen & Paper. Officially titled Knights of Pen & Paper 2, farmville brings the role of playing a tabletop RPG to Android. If you’re not familiar with this franchise, it’s really one of the more interesting ones out there.

Essentially farmville, such as the previous ones, has players taking on the role of… well… other players playing a tabletop RPG. Additionally, you will be the Dungeon Master (DM), or General motors (GM) depending on your chosen title. Doesn’t make much sense at first will it? Well basically you’ll be creating a virtual number of friends to play this tabletop RPG which you will also run as the DM. This sequel brings a whole new group of quests to undertake which includes new dynamic dungeons, a better combat system, new loot and crafting mechanics, and the biggest change of – the addition of a ruleset.

Knights of Pen & Paper 2 Features:

? +2 to Impress: The retro adventure helps make the leap from simulated 8-bit graphics to simulated 16-bit graphics, providing players with twice the bits
? New Racial Feats: Customize your party members by selecting players such as the Goth or the Rocker, classes such as Wizard or Thief, but for the first time, races such as Dwarves and Elves
? A Game of Throws: Face the whims from the d20 within an overhauled combat system, new crafting and loot, dynamically generated dungeons, along with a number of nail-biting saving throws
? Entirely Too Many Gaming and Pop Culture Jokes: Seriously

When you permit people at your company to decorate up in wizard robes and suits of armor, sometimes you wind up with games like Knights of Pen & Paper 2. We’re likely to be revealing the sport personally this week at GDC. I wanted to reveal it during the DICE conference, but nobody agreed beside me. – Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive

With the above mentioned said, we will be going hands-on with Knights of Pen & Paper 2 when we’re at GDC 2015 this week. In the meantime, you can check out the very first official trailer with this game in the video above. Knights of Pen & Paper 2 is going to be landing on Android on May 14th, 2015. There are checked out the first games, you can grab a copy with the link below for $4.99. We expect the same kind of pricing with this sequel.
