The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild may be the indie developer that previously made The Bridge, a black and white puzzle game. This time around they’re back for another puzzle game, one of a far more colorful variety, titled Tumblestone.
With a focus on multiplayer, Tumblestone is really a match three game, that involves shooting blocks in a descending set of stones, think Tetris backwards. Players choose a character to represent them and compete with up to three others. I’d the opportunity to briefly play its single player during PAX. While the single player mode can be a more isolated experience, still it provides a level of competition with online leaderboards.
Due out this September, Tumblestone is going to be free with advertisements. There’ll a also be a paid version without ads. From my discussion and among the devs, it looks like gone will be the in-app purchases.
